Click Start > Settings > Windows Update
Click Check for updates
Install available updates and restart your computer
Click the Apple menu > System Settings > Software Update
Click Update Now
Turn on Automatic Updates if available
Open Settings > System > System Update
Tap Check for updates
Follow the prompts to install
Open Settings > General > Software Update
Tap Download and Install
Turn on Automatic Updates for future updates
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon > Manage apps & device
Tap Update All
Open the App Store
Tap your profile icon
Scroll down and tap Update All
Open the Microsoft Store
Click your profile icon > App settings
Click Get updates
Open the App Store
Click Updates in the sidebar
Click Update All

Update won’t install: Restart your device and try again
Low storage: Delete unused apps or files
Battery too low: Plug in your device before updating
Apps crashing after update: Update the app again or reinstall it
