Boost performance, update apps, and customize your Command Prompt like a pro
Winget is a built-in Windows tool that lets you update installed apps from the command line—fast and easy.
Click the Start menu and type Command Prompt.
Right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
In the black window, type this command and press Enter:
winget upgrade
This shows all apps with updates available.
To update everything at once, type:
winget upgrade --all
Winget will automatically download and install updates for each app.

Open Command Prompt.
Right-click the title bar at the top of the window.
Click Properties.
Use these tabs to customize:
Font: Choose a bold or futuristic font like Consolas or Lucida Console
Colors: Change text color to green and background to black for a “Matrix” look
Layout: Resize the window for better visibility
Click OK to apply your changes.

Too many apps launching at startup can slow down your computer. Here’s how to fix that.
Right-click the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
Click the Startup tab.
Review the list of apps that launch when your PC boots.
Right-click any app you don’t need immediately and choose Disable.
Cloud sync tools (unless needed right away)
Chat apps, game launchers, or update checkers
Printer software or media players
Note: Leave antivirus and essential drivers enabled.
